The structural members should be outlined in black and each fire alarm device should be outlined in red. Points of egress should be indicated with blue shading, if the building is multi-storied floors should be shown one above another. According to 780 CMR,Table 1009.2,the combined total egress capacity for the two 36 inch egress doors is 380 people. The maximum travel distance on each floor level is less than the 200 feet allowed by 780 CMR,Table 1006.5. Signs Signs will be located throughout the building in accordance with NFPA standards for life safety and the Massachusetts Architectural Access Board requirements 521 CMR,to provide direction to exits and identification of key components of the alarm systems. These signs will be lighted as required by code. Smoke Control Smoke control is not required for this building. Elevator Recall The tenant space is at grade level. Fire Alarm System Manual pull stations are located at each point of egress in the building. Horn/strobe units are located in the main sales floor area,and rear service/storage area. Strobes are located in each bathroom. The fire alarm system will be tested in accordance with NFPA 72. All devices will be tested to ensure proper operation. The installing contractor will provide test certificates as required by NFPA 72. Automatic Extinguishing,Systems The building does not have a sprinkler system.
