Re: Landscape Buffer
Dear Mr. Czelusniak,
In response to a complaint, I recently visited your property located at 173 North Street in
Northampton. It appears that you have removed the shrubbery that was acting as the "Buffer Strip"
between your property and the several residential properties that abut your property. That buffer strip
was required to remain in place to avoid "Light Wash' and the potential for vehicle mishaps (going over
the bank).
This is all part of the order of conditions put in place by the Planning Board Site Plan Approval
on May 30, 1989 (attached to this mailing). You are hereby ordered to replant the shrubs and trees that
were part of the original proposal forthwith to re-establish the buffer strip to avoid further action from the
City up to and including fines and/or court appearances.
If you are aggrieved by this Enforcement Order, you have the right to appeal to the City of
Northampton Zoning Board of Appeals
