Dear Mr. Madowitz:
A complaint has been filed in our office with regards to Hampshire Property
Management Group Inc. operating a property management business at 80 Damon Road
for rental units at 80 Damon Road, and managing other rental units not located
at 80 Damon Road.
80 Damon Road, Map 18D, Lot 53 his zoned GI (General Industry) . Present zoning
would require a variance for townhouse rental units, since the units were
constructed prior to present zoning, they would fall under the "Grandfather"
clause pre-existing non-conforming. However, the expansion of use performing
property management would have required a finding from the Zoning Board of Appeals
which was not done.
You are ordered to cease and desist the use of the site for property management.
You have thirty days (30) in which to comply. You have the right of appeal
and right to apply to Zoning Board of Appeals to expand use for property
management and could start the process by filing a Zoning Permit Application
in our office.
