I do not have the plans yet for the proposed 2 unit because we would have it designed so that it would fit onto this lot. If you need further information from me, please let me know. In the end, there is a 11' long section of the existing house that is too close to the 10' setback new minimum lot line by a very small amount. The proposed line is the dashed red line. At the foundation corner, it's is 0.3' too close to the new line. I'm not counting the siding or the roof overhangs. I don't know what the rules are exactly as to what they count as "building",but if they count the roof overhang then that would be much closer to the new line. I'm also not counting the bay windows, the conc. steps or stoop (since you could tear out off easy). All those things are closer than 10' to the new line. So assuming they don't care about the roof overhangs,we are talking about 3.5" at the most to the foundation. This is very much a measurable amount for us, but I know this is very small for others; so I'm in an odd position where I don't want to bury it, but if it turns out only the foundation is what is important, then I understand that may be exactly what you want to happen to move this forward! For now, please look it over with you are working with and let me know if you have questions. Thanks, Brian C.
