To whom it may concern,
This evening I went to the new Pride station on the corner of Damon Road and King
Street. t believe that the pump 1 used was miscalibrated. I reported this to the manager at the
time. He made no offers to solve the problem. I noted that there was no seal of inspection on the
pump. He said the inspection had been done more than a week ago. So . . .
Here are the relevant facts:
Pump 2
1 got regular unleaded
1 keep records of every tank of gas(mileage, date,gallons, cost) I get and have always done this.
I know that the last tank of gas(March 20)&ad 272 miles.and 1 got just under 7 gallons of gas.
Today 1 had gone 265 miles, got over 8 gallons of gas.
All driving in-between had been highway driving.
Mile gas indicator was closer to '/z than 'A.
In general, when the tank is Vs empty I get about 8 gallons of gas.
My conclusion, I should have been getting 7 gallons of gas-or less,rather than 8.
