The existing structure is 1.6 feet from the lot line and, according to the Northampton assessors office, was built in 1900 making it legally pre-existing non-conforming. 2.The existing house is 1.6 feet from the lot line and the proposed structure will also be 1.6 feet from the lot line thus not increasing the non-conformity. The distance from the back of the primary dwelling to the existing garage is 8 ft.
