RE: Unit A, 351 Pleasant Street
It is my understanding that additional drawings have been requested in connection with the recent
application of O&A Enterprises LLC to add a sign to the façade of Unit A at Millbank Place
Condominiums, 351 Pleasant Street,Northampton.
We do not have an artist on staff who is able to provide architectural drawings. Attached is a sketch of the
proposed sign sizes, prepared in the same manner as was used last year for the permit of the existing sign
on Unit A. Also attached are photographs of the current sign on Unit A,as well as the signs on the other 3
commercial units of the building. Please note that while it shares a mailing address with one of the other
businesses in the complex,0&A Enterprises,LLC owns only Unit A; Units B,C and D have other
owners.
Unit A is a commercial condominium unit housing several leased professional office spaces. One of the
current tenants is leaving and a new tenant has been identified to lease the soon to be empty space. Rather
than simply changing the name on the existing sign,the new tenant wants their own sign. The permit
request is to add their sign to the front of Unit A. Because they will have a separate sign,the existing sign
will be adjusted to contain only the names of the other two tenants,with white space left in its center. No
changes will be made to the sign on the street edge of the property except to switch the name of the
departing tenant to the name of the new tenant.
It is our understanding that the Millbank Place I condo association has asked Mr. Kunhardt to change his
existing sign on Unit C to a height of 2 feet, and that he has agreed to do this. This will make all of the
signed on the front of the building at 351 Pleasant Street 2 fee high,though of varying lengths as meet the
needs of the owners of those units.
