You have determined that according to the National Electrical Code Sections 230-72-C, 230-91-C, and 240-24-B tenants in this building need 24 hour access to the building main electrical service disconnect. We have been advised that tenant access to this area will expose Hampton Housing Associates (Owner) to unusual risk and may jeopardize our insurance coverage. Likewise, for us to provide 24 hour on premises maintaenance and security would be cost prohibitive. Therefore, we respectfully request that you allow a Certificate of Occupancy limited to 120 days from today to issue for all residential apartment units at 20 Hampton Court, Northampton, Massachusetts. Further, we wish to proceed to work with you by whatever means necessary to resolve this issue and obtain a epermanent Certificate of Occupancy for this premises. Respectfull , a_ , Rog A.
