Proposed Work
Flooring:
All the flooring will be removed and replaced with tong and groove fir flooring. It will be
preprimmed on all surfaces prior to installation.
Column and Railing Repair
Base of columns will be removed and reproduced to match existing as needed.
Railings will be removed and reproduced or repaired to match existing as needed.
Steps
Steps will be removed and replaced to match existing. “Diamond” risers will be
reproduced.
Front steps
Existing front steps and railings will be removed. The new steps will span the entire
distance from column to column. The risers will have the diamond pattern matching the
side staircase. Handrails will be added from the columns to ground level with wood
spindles matching the existing spacing and size. An inner black pipe handrail will
follow the inside the wood railing system to meet current code.
