Dear Ms. LaValley and Commissioners:
Thank you for your time earlier this year regarding the above referenced property.
Enclosed please find the Request for Determination of Applicability (RDA) Stockman
Associates LLC is submitting on behalf of our client, TJDL Development, LLC. TJDL
Development, LLC is seeking approval of the wetland boundaries delineated by
Stockman Associates LLC within their property (Map 41 Lot 70) on Route 66 in the City of
Northampton, MA as depicted on the enclosed surveyed site plan.
I look forward to discussing the delineation with you. It is my understanding that the
commission will place the RDA on their next available agenda. Furthermore, it is my
understanding that the conservation commission will place the required notice in the
local paper. The applicant will reimburse the commission for the cost of the notice.
Enclosed please find a check for the sum of $175 for the filing fee under the City of
Northampton Wetland Ordinance.

The evaluated area of the approximately 19-acre subject parcel is dominated by upland forest with
moderate to very steep predominantly south and east facing slopes. The frontage is comprised of
open field with evidence of agricultural impacts. The forested area has been historically harvested for
timber. Two forested Bordering Vegeted Wetlands and one isolated wetland are located within the
south and easterly portions of the property as depicted on the attached site plan. Please see the
attached delineation report prepared by Stockman Associates LLC for additional details.
