Construction for the tower will be standard 2” X 4” @ 16” on center pedestal construction. The walls will be sheathed with exterior ½” ply or 1/2'”CDX fiberboard.
Each sidewall section will be in 14’ high sections with steel hurricane strapping on each wall section over lapping on to the adjacent wall sections. Floor sections will be built in
a pedestal manner on top of each 14’ wall section. This will be repeated until the tower is completely sheathed.
Every 14’ vertical there will be a floor that will tie into the metal tower as well as all eight-wall sections of the exterior framing creating single integrated structure. The floors
will consist of 2 X 8 @ 16” on center wood joists with two perpendicular steel trusses spanning the steel tower for added support.
The tower floors every 14 ft will facilitate workers in the operation and maintenance of the tower and equipment. There will be six floors sections in the completed tower. These floors
will not be supporting equipments just workers.
