Box 358 Westfield, MA 01085 September 24, 2012 Dear Mr. Forish, We have started to review the building permit application for the automobile dealership at 263 King Street in Northampton. The site plan review approved by the Planning Board includes some conditions that must be satisfied prior to issuing a building permit and prior to construction. Prior to issuing a building permit: A revised lighting plan (condition 1-2) Amendment to the Stormwater Management Permit (condition 1-17) Prior to the start of construction: Confirm tree protection, assess 3” oak Additionally, I did a preliminary review of the plans: The ground snow load for Northampton is 55 psf (780 CMR T1604.11, listed as 35 psf on sheet A-1) The parking layout needs to meet the requirements of 521 CMR 23; please designate public parking spaces; min 1 accessible space per 25 public spaces, at least 1 space must be van accessible The plans must show compliance with the stretch energy code (780 CMR appendix 115AA) No analysis of the plumbing code fixture count Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
