The plans for the Single Family Residential retrofit dated 5-31-11 have been approved as noted;
Structure conforms to 780 CMR 8th addition 1 and 2 family building codes.
Energy aspects must comply with 2009 IECC prescriptive and mandatory requirements or an appropriate HERS rating. Northampton has the stretch energy code. (appendix 120AA)
The entire structure will have smokes and COs updated. A smoke in each bedroom, a smoke and CO within 10’ of bedrooms, a smoke and CO at the bottom of each stair to a finished area.
