Dear Mrs. Rodriguez:
Pursuant to your request, Network Building + Consulting Engineering Services
(“NB+C ES”) has evaluated the structural impact of replacing three (3) existing
Commscope LNX-6514DS-VTM panel antennas with three (3) proposed
Commscope DBXNH-6565B-A2M panel antennas on existing pipe mounts
enclosed in fiberglass shrouds on tripod sleds at an elevation of 72’-0” AGL.
NB+C ES have reviewed the construction drawings dated July 21, 2015 and
previous structural analysis dated August 14, 2014 prepared by this office and the
T-Mobile RFDS sheet dated May 11, 2015 for this site. Any deterioration or
damage to the existing structure should be documented and reported to the
engineer and repaired by the contractor prior to the installation of the proposed
equipment.
Based on an evaluation of the existing conditions and per the provisions of the
2009 International Building Code and Structural Standards for Steel Antenna
Towers and Antenna Supporting Structures ANSI/TIA-222-G for applied gravity and
lateral loads, NB+C ES has determined that the existing structure and antenna
mounts are adequate and can support the proposed installation without any
structural modification to the Structure. Please see the construction drawings
prepared by NB+C ES for additional details. No structural qualification is made or
implied by this report for existing structural members not supporting the proposed
installation. Should you have any question or require additional information, please
feel free to contact us.
