The following was observed (Action items are noted in bold italics):

Various subcontractors
-The steel erection is complete. The size and location of the structural steel is in accordance with the design
drawings. The concrete block under the center row of steel has been grouted solid down to the foundation as
required. Exterior lintels have been installed as shown on the design drawings.
-The existing joists have not yet been re-welded to the structural steel. The job superintendent shall instruct
the steel erector to re-weld the joists to the top flange of the structural steel.
-The structural steel has not yet been welded to the bearing plates. The job superintendent shall instruct the
steel erector to weld the structural steel to the bearing plates.
-Solid blocking at 48" on center (as noted on S101 .08) (noted in my previous report) has not been done. The
contractor shall provide the necessary blocking as noted.
-All other aspects of the steel erection were in conformance with the design drawings.
