To the best of our knowledge, the Work being performed is in accordance with the Contract Documents,
unless noted otherwise, and is progressing as described below.
WORK IN PROGRESS:
1)Demolition of walls & window openings 100% complete.
2)Slab demolition 10% complete.
3)Masonry infill 50% complete.
4)Steel work 50% complete.
5)Roof parapet framing 90% complete.
6)Roof insulation 5% complete.
OBSERVATIONS / ACTION REQUIRED:
7)At the South (rear) side of the building, there were field changes to the sizes and locations of the doors
and windows. It was observed that the L1 lintel size was used for all doors and 5'-0” long windows along
this wall. This is acceptable for all of the door locations. The lintel size for all 5'-0” windows shall be
replaced to a double angle 6x3-1/2x5/16.
8)The end framing of parapet walls needs to be secured back to adjacent side – this was completed in one
corner and needs to be completed at other corner.
9)The new door openings per plan were cut in the walls with doors installed. Lintels have not yet been
installed and are required.
10)GC has confirmed that CMU cores were grouted solid at all beam bearing locations.
