Property at 46 Cross Street; 22D-078 To Ms. Wessmann:
I received a call about the property at 46 Cross Street in Florence on March 14, 2011 concerning an accessory apartment. There is no record of a garage or a convertion to an “Accessory Apartment” at this location. This is a violation of the provisions of the Northampton Zoning bylaws Chapter 350-10.10 and the Massachusetts State Building Code, 780 CMR Chapter 51, section 5118 and section 5120. I require that this unit remain vacant until it can be shown that proper zoning and building permit have been issued and approved. Please submit a completed zoning application, building, plumbing and electrical permit application as soon as possible.
You have the right to appeal this action under 780 CMR Chapter 51, section 5122.
