Sitework & Utilities
1/17/2013: Mt. View on site completing pavers. Rivet on site roofing
canopies. Lizotte on site installing windows in the vestibule and doors
at vestibule and stair tower. Total Wall is on site working on the
canopies. Final deck joints being installed. The fire protection system
is being hydrostatically tested. Arcadis to witness readings. Rails
should finish 1/14 with painting in the spring. Final masonry at the
temp stairs should be complete 1/14.
1/10/2013: Metal Panel systems being applied to the Garage
Canopies. Building Canopies to follow. Masons are complete except
for the short wall at the temp stair. Shanix is on site reviewing camera
relocations and card reader/keypad issues. A meeting needs to take
place to determine the operation of all the overhead doors and the
parking gates. C&B to schedule ASAP.
CBA; T&B Ongoing 12/12/2012001-003
MEP Coordination & Commissioning
1/17/2013: Boiler changes continue to be implemented. All parts are
in except for the flow meter. The relays need to be changed for 1.5
minutes to 10 minutes delay. B&B Gregg Sutherland is on site to
review system operation and report.
1/10/2013: Changes have been on-going with the water boilers. BG
now has the parts from the boiler manufacturer and is scheduling with
Automated Logic to change out the components and relocate the temp
sensors on the roof. Automated should be in 1/11/13 or 1/14/13. B&B
to forward contact information for Anne Adducci to CAB.

1/3/2013: WSP issued a field report for the boiler revisions. CES
issued directives to B&B for various modifications to the system. PD
noted that the Impound Garage was very cold, and that other offices in
the building were moderately cool. CES still waiting for information
from National Grid regarding the power outages; CES to forward info to
the PD so they can contact National Grid directly.
12/20/2012: CBA noted that CES is in contact with the boiler
manufacturer for solutions to the cycling issue. Arcadis requested that
WSP be copied on the correspondence. CES awaiting more
information from National Grid regarding the power outages.
12/12/2012: Meeting is scheduled for Friday 8:30 AM to review the
boiler status with all parties. CBA noted that CES spoke with National
Grid and they are awaiting more information regarding the outages.
The COR to perform the chiller power modifications is on hold until the
issues are resolved with National Grid.

FF&E Status
1/17/2013: Griffin to provide information for Blue Shield. B&B
suggests that the owner purchase units without going through Griffin.
Units cost approximately $28 each.
1/10/2013: Griffin is reviewing a blue shield. Parking signs were
discussed. Pricing is in to City and CBA for review. Temporary
parking signs for under the garage should be made for courthouse
use.
1/3/2013: CBA/B&B to research blue shield information for front
lights. B&B noted they are expecting to receive pricing this week for
the parking deck signage; signs could be 4-6 week lead time.
12/20/2012: Replacement projection screens to be installed this
week. B&B to issue PCO for vinyl acoustic panels today. PD noted
that they may install blue bulbs in the front exterior lights for PD
identification.
12/12/2012: Revised acoustical panel CO ongoing; B&B to advise.
CBA noted the signage requirements in the parking area are being
reviewed by Tighe & Bond.

Security Systems
1/17/2013: Team reviewed door conditions as discussed between
owner and CBA; meeting is required. CBA to coordinate meeting for
week of 1/21 to resolve the system required at each door.
CBA to review PCO for additional signage. Signage has not been
released. Temporary signage will be required. CBA to advise signage.
1/10/2013: CBA reviewed overhead door functions with the PD.
Meeting is to be scheduled with all members involved to review. CBA
to schedule meeting ASAP.

the meeting. The overhead door outside the Impound Garage may
need an enclosure at the chain fall. PD requested Shanix on site to
complete the 3 remaining cell camera replacements and Stentofone
fix. Griffin issued pricing for Stair C cameras; CES to review and
comment.
Sound seals were installed at the interview rooms in the detective
bureau but sound is still being picked up by the microphones. B&B to
lower bottom seal to see if it helps.
12/20/2012: PD noted that they received the UPS and requested that
Griffin proceed on the electrical work; CBA/CES to review and advise
on PCO status. CBA to clarify functions at overhead doors and gates.
B&B noted a meeting has been scheduled on January 4 with Griffin
Electric to review the parking deck security dispute; CBA to confirm
CES availability.
12/12/2012: It was discussed that the Shanix CO for additional
booking storage did include integration with the access control
system. CBA to review scope with CES and clarify the original scope
requirements for the booking storage. PD noted the interior radio
antennae work is complete and the signal is much improved. AVI
reader issue still ongoing with Griffin; they are proceeding under
protest, however no action has been seen since RFI's issued last week.
Punch Lists
1/17/2013: Barr&Barr has corrected the latch and the frame
adjustment on the cell doors. The interview room door closer has been
adjusted and the door closes properly. Barr & Barr stated they
received the punch list and cover letter from Arcadis and will respond
appropriately.
1/10/2013: Barr & Barr stated they would cut the latch catch using
their carpenter to expedite the issue. B&B will contact G-S to make
sure there is no issue with cutting the flange area around the latch. If
no issue, they will cut those when they widen the catches. B&B stated
they will also adjust the closers on the interview room door and the one
across the hall for proper closing and latching. B&B waiting on
additional building issues list from City.
1/3/2013: G-S Co. installed the raised door pulls at the cell doors last
week. B&B to confirm the locks were also addressed. PD noted that
the strike openings on the jambs should be widened approximately
1/8" to allow for the door latches to operate freely. PD noted the jamb
bumpers should also be replaced. B&B to follow up with G-S Co.
Dave P. to forward other door hardware punchlist to B&B by Monday.
B&B noted that Mountain View landscaping has advised to use sand
only on brick pavers, not salt. B&B to check with Mountain View if non-
salt deicers are acceptable. PD noted that B&B should notify Eric
Suher of the requirements.
12/20/2012: B&B noted that G-S Co. is sending a rep to the jobsite to
repair the lock that jammed again last week, as well as to install the
raised pulls.
12/12/2012: PD noted that the county jail maintenance staff reviewed
the cell doors and recommended having a grinder in the PD in case of
an emergency. PD noted that the door sides should be repaired, and
questioned if one of the doors should be undercut due to rubbing on
the floor. B&B to review. Arcadis noted the expansion joints at the
back stair need to be confirmed.
