9. Structural Fasteners: Structural
screws shall be by GRK. Provide
RSS Series screws or an approved
equivalent. Connections for ledgers
shall use fasteners of nominal 3/8"
diameter and lengths specified. Other
connections shall use 5/16" diameter
screws of lengths specified. All
fasteners shall be coated and rated
as approved for use with pressure
treated lumber, corrosion resistance.
10. Steel connectors, plates, ties: All
shall be rated as approved for use in
contact with pressure treated lumber.
Coatings shall be hot dipped
galvanized or Simpson "Zmax"
