Mr. Hyundo,
Your building permit application with plans dated 7-8-16 requires additional infomation
Please follow up on the following items:
Clarification on the site plan provided. Front setback from the property line, not the road and closet distance to the side boundary is assumed to be 10’.
Additional dimensions on the plans clarifying the width. Depth appears to be 20’?
The 2 - 2 x 10 for the beams are undersized.
There needs to be a bearing location at the house wall for each beam.
Bearing location must be sized for an assumed ground bearing capacity of 2000 lbs per SQFT.
As of August 4th 2011 the 8th Edition MA code is the 2009 IRC with MA amendments.
In the following are some generic requirements which seem to be problematic.
