A Superior XI Foundation System will be provided. Engineered, Stamped Shop Drawings will be provided by Superior Wall. Floor & Roof Trusses will be provided by Truss Engineering Corporation. Per IBC2009, Section 406.1 the garage is classified as Private Garages, Use Group U. Per IBC2009, Section 406.1.2, 2) For a building containing only a Group U occupancy, the exterior wall shall not be required to have a fire-resistance rating and the are of the openings shall not be limited when the fire separation distance is 5 feet or more. R-3 Unit Separations: Per IRC2009, Section R302.3 Dwelling units in two-family dwellings shall be separated from each other by wall and or floor assemblies having not less than a 1 hour fire-resistance rating when tested in accordance with ASTME 119 or UL 263. The wall shall be rated for fire exposure from both sides and shall extend to and be tight against exterior walls and the underside of the roof sheathing.
