The plans for the Multi Unit Townhouses dated 4-17-15 have been approved as noted;
All work must meet all applicable codes whether noted or not included within this memo.
Verification the cupolas weight meets the truss design specifications.
Submission of the sealed foundation plans.
Fresh air intakes must meet M 401.4 and all exterior equipment, exhaust, and intakes separations meet manufacturers’ requirements.
Fire rated plywood is installed per 780 CMR 5317.2.2.
Fire stopping required in the soffits at unit separations per R302.11
Unit B-2 window in the stair appears to need tempering per R308.4
Structure conforms to 780 CMR 7th edition of the 2009 IRC with the stretch energy code and mandatory requirements.
Smoke and CO detectors per code and plan.
A continuous air barrier is required behind tubs, spas, showers, fire places and electric boxes on exterior walls! Watch out or the tub comes out.
Energy information and equipment must be posted on the electric panel upon completion.
Copies of the final HERS rating and duct blast testing are required for COs
