Re: Tent Area Service and Disconnects
The following is a proposal on how I hope to proceed to remedy the electrical service on Crosspath Road. Now that the existing cabinet has passed inspection we will reuse this cabinet
and relocate it above the floodplain.
The steps to accomplish this are as follows:
Engineer and design the platform structure to hold the existing switch gear and connections. Ryan Helwig and Jonathon Salvon.
RFP for electrical contract to raise the cabinet and ready conduit for temporary service- prices due by June 1.
Contract for Platform construction.
Trench for conduit by Fair, conduit by contractor
Because there is not very much time before the Morgan Show I am requesting that we place the conduit and use the cabinet in it’s existing location for that show. After the Show the
structure can be built and the cabinet raised and services reconnected.
One of the remaining questions is if it is necessary to have the fusible disconnects down by the tent pads or we can use temporary service thru the conduits and then remove it after
the show each year. If we have to construct a raised structure for the fused disconnects this will require an additional design item.
Please advise if this schedule is acceptable.
