RE: Construction Phase General Conditions, Summer Renovations 2016
To be included in general conditions:
• Facsimile transmissions and telephone calls
• Postage and parcel delivery
• Telephone service at the project site
• Removal of debris from the site of the Work and its proper and legal disposal
• Rental of temporary toilet facilities
• Rental of temporary machinery, equipment, and non-customary hand tools
• Rental of on or off site storage unit
• Hand marked “As-Built” drawings
• Temporary structures necessary to maintain routine pedestrian traffic
• Building permit, and other permits, testing, licenses and inspections
• Interior and exterior site protection
• On site health and safety materials (drinking water, first aid, fire extinguisher)
• Site of the Work signage
• On site office supplies
• On site transportation between buildings
• Final site cleaning
Not to be included in general conditions; therefore, to be included in the GMP:
• Wages of salaries of the Construction Manager’s supervisory and administrative personnel when stationed
at the site with the Owner’s prior approval.
• Wages of construction workers directly employed by the Construction Manger to perform the construction
of the Work at the site or, with the Owner’s prior approval, at off-site workshops.
