I'm not sure where the process is at but after the final approvals, there's a 20 day appeal period and any pre-building permit conditions need to be satisfied. Carolyn Misch may have information about that part of the process. Water, sewer and driveway permits from the DPW need to be in place before we issue a building permit. The DPW permits take a week or two. We need complete plans, including the preliminary energy conservation plans in hand. The plan review takes about a week. You can submit the building permit application (including the fee) at any point and we can review the plans any time but the zoning and DPW requirements must be met before we give you the permit. I have house plans drawn up in completion with a few local licensed contractors quoting me prices. Both my bank and contractor need to be assured that I can secure a building permit immediately for a lot in the third phase of Burt's Bog to lock in the current favorable bank interest rates. Would you be so kind to e-mail me the response to these questions as soon as possible. Again, can I obtain a building permit for phase three immediately and when would we be allowed to begin building? My partner may have already e-mailed you, we are eager. Thank you for your quick response. Jack
