FROM: Jim Locke RE: Leo and Susanna Weinstein proposed remodel and addition, description of site changes. Sirs: The plans for this project included two basic jobs. The first is a porch addition replacing an existing stoop. The proposed porch is about 6' x 14', and will be about 3' closer to the right lot line than an existing bay window,but still about 60' away. The distance to the rear lot line is much more than the existing house; about 30'.The second job is to replace an existing second floor sleeping porch with an enclosed room to be used as a study or library. This part of the work does not change the footprint of the building at all,nor does it substantially change the outline of the building from any elevation view. The setback figures listed on the Zoning Permit Application refer only to the new porch, since that is the part of the work that changes the building footprint.
