TITLE
Aikido Club Renovations
Remove two changing rooms - tear out three sheet rod:: and
paneled walls which do not go to the ceiling.
Raise the false ceiling three feet - remove insulation, fiber
board and lights. Detach from side walls and raise the metal "t"
track. Replace the insulation, panels and lights.
Install sound-proofing wall - a 2"x4" sheetrock wall two inches
out from exsisting wall with carpet inbetween.
Raise the gas heater - shorten all pipes. Gas Co. to do gas work.
Resurface entrance floor - sand and paint.
Lay Aikido mat - put down two inch foam with wooden frame and
canvas cover.
Install racks on the walls for equipment.
Remove door to stairs
Install 2' -6" wide stairs to second dressing room - two 3' x12'
oak stringers with 2'xlO' oak treads and open risers and a
railing on the wall . Each step to be 9" high.
Add railing to the existing stair
Add half inch wafer board to the floor of the two upstairs
dressing rooms and carpet both.
Build sheetrock walls and ceiling for the second dressing room.
2' x4' walls with insulation.
Install exhaust fans in each dressing room blowing out into the
attic.
Install a shower stall in each dressing room with hot water
heater (electric) under the stairs on the first floor.
Install coat rack, shelves and mirrors in the dressing rooms.
Install 3'high 2"x4" sheetrock wall deviding the entrance area
from the mat.
Install lit exit signs over the doors.
Install emergency lighting.
