To Whom It May Concern at the Northampton Building Department:
Please disregard the aborted email I just sent.
This is to notify you that I am firing Michael Dale (2GC)as the subcontractor for the new deck at 106
Momingside Drive in Florence. The job was started in December 2016,with an anticipated completion date of
January 2017. It is still not complete. Though it is true that some aspects of the job were added on later, I have
not been able to communicate with Mr. Dale for months. He had promised to finish up in October 2017. He does
not answer email or the telephone. We saw him in January 2018 at a job he was doing at Alexander's
Restaurant(Miss Florence Diner). He promised to come by and return our paint, and then never did.
I hereby ask you to withdraw Building Permit BP-2017-0777.
I have spoken on the telephone with Scott Callahan, the official contractor listed on the permit. He is most happy
to be of assistance to you, should you need that.
Please send an inspector to examine the job done so far, so that a new permit can be issued to a different
contractor.
