The current exemption for"homeowners'was extended to include Owner-occupied Dwellings of one(1) or two(2)families
and to allow such homeowner to engage an individual for hire who does not possess a license,provided that the owner acts
as sapervisor.CMR 780, Sixth Edition Section 10835.1.

The Scope of the Project: The scope of the work is as outlined below:
The Friends of Hampshire County Homeless Individuals in partnership with DIAL/SELF Youth & Communis
Services identified a need for supportive affordable housing in the greater Northampton area for unaccompanied
youth 18-24 experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless to have supportive affordable housing.
This project will involve renovations for several basic safety and code issues in the existing structure. as well as
new design elements. fixtures. and finishes to he addressed to accommodate secure and safe 1-bedroom units,
with shared common areas.
Please see the plan-set. dated 04/03/2017, and spec, dated 05/17/2017. for more information.
Costs: Costs for the project are as shown on the attached estimate summary and Wright Builders. Inc. makes
substantial efforts to secure and hold pricing on all aspects of the work. Volatile items such as. but not limited to.
wirecopper piping, plastic products, oil based products and lumber are beyond the control of Wright Builders.
Inc. and the customer agrees to pay for incremental cost changes that exceed those unit costs contained within the
quoted package, by change order, should such conditions arise.
Optional Work: Options for material or costs savings. if applicable, are included in a separate Options Summon.

Site Work conditions: All costs presented for site work items are estimates assuming conditions are as they
appear on documents provided and ascertained during site inspection. Any site conditions that occur that require

Unforeseen Conditions: Reasonable care is taken by us to inspect field conditions and existing building
conditions to determine the scope of the work. The repair of concealed damage. concealed code non-compliant
conditions and other similar concealed circumstances are not part of the scope of the project and subject to
additional costs.
