James,
I've attached a copy of the zoning approval.
I don't think the building permit turnaround will take more than a few days as long as the permit application is complete (architect information, contractor
information, etc.) and the scope of work is essentially the same as we've discussed.

James,
We've approved the work proposal for 221 King St, with some conditions about the trees.
The tree on the north side of the property is below a set of power lines. You've proposed a tree (Regent Scholar Tree) that is not suitable for that location.
The Regent Scholar routinely reaches 40-50'and can grow to 75'. The Northampton Tree Warden has suggested 2 other species, The Crataegus vindis
(Winter King Hawthorn) would be my first suggestion, Mattis ssp. Donald Wyman'or Adams'would be second suggestion.
There aren't any power lines on the south side of the lot. If you do elect to use the Scholar Tree in that location, you will need to consult with the tree
warden; a tree that size needs specific conditions.
We will issue permits for work on the building as long as you understand that the type of trees and methods of planting have not been resolved.
