I doubt there are any issues but email a sketch. What are the spaces used for?What is the total SOFT? Is the
bathroom for private or public use? Public use drives AAB regulations and different plumbing regulations. You'd
should speak to the plumbing inspector since this may drive other issues.

We've completed the small job of building a partition wall and have some questions regarding some other
work my client has requested. Specifically what would need to done to create an additional bathroom within
the existing space.

Please be advised on August 31, 2016 in the Board Meeting Room, 1000 Washington Street in Boston
Massachusetts, the Board of the State Examiners of Plumbers and Gas Fitters deliberated on and voted
unanimously to grant two variance from 248 CMR 10.10 (18) Table 1 to allow the utilization of the
existing single unisex rest room and to allow the installation of a spring water dispenser in lieu of a
piped in drinking fountain.
This variance decision is, based on the presentation, information and documentation provided by the
applicant and is applicable to this end user and this site only. All other plumbing and gas fitting work if
applicable shall comply with the rules and regulations of 248 CMR 3.00 through 10.00 and all other
applicable statutes and codes
