Gentlemen:
We have your Application dated July 20, 1989 for a "Special Permit
under the Provisions of Section 9. 3 of the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Northampton. " However, the Application is flawed. Section
9 . 3 covers pre-existing nonconforming lots, structures and uses,
and is not what covers the situation. What you should be doing is
applying to the Board to modify the original Special Permit granted
on August 12, 1985 which allowed the establishment of your
dealership.
I enclose a copy of that Special Permit. I also enclose a blank
application form. It should be completed exactly as the one you
submitted, except that, under Item #4 , you check the "Other" box,
and simply state that you want to modify your August 12, 1985
Special Permit.
Please submit the application to the Building Inspector' s Office,
and we will see that all copies of your application package get
corrected. There is no additional fee.

Dear Mr. Pascucci :
Thank you for pointing out our error concerning our Special Permit
Application. Enclosed you will find a corrected application.
Associated 'Builders , Inc. acted as the Design and Construction contractor
for the original Northampton Ford project. We are , once again, repre-
senting the owner for the design and construction of the proposed
"small addition" .
It is our hope that this project might receive City approval soon
so that we may complete construction prior to the onset of the late
fall - early winter weather conditions .
