Tony—attached is the Narrative you requested. It comes from Mr. Duffy.
Again, I apologize for any misunderstanding. I actually thought I was doing the right thing by checking to see if I
needed a building permit. I never thought about the use.
Let me know if I can provide you with any further information.

NEW STUDIO FOR DANCE AND ART IN NORTHAMPTON
NORTHAMPTON, MA -- What do a dance studio and an art gallery have in
common? Their creator. Dance and art come together logically and
effectively under the guidance of William G. Duffy, Jr. A teacher of
swing, salsa, hustle, and other social dances, an artist, and former
owner of an art gallery previously located on Crafts Avenue, Duffy
brings his artistic energies together in Northampton's newest studio
space -- Dance Northampton. "Expression through the movement of dance
and expression through the visual forms of art sustain both body and
mind, " says Duffy. His most recent sculpture, Stone Dancer, which will
be displayed at the studio, symbolically brings together the energy of
the dance world and the creativity of the art world. And Dance
Northampton, studio and gallery, brings the two together for all to
enjoy, with dance instruction and dance events alongside a gallery in
which local artists will have the opportunity to exhibit their work.
Dance Northampton opens on Saturday, December 3, with an evening of
social dancing. The event will start with a beginner-friendly lesson in
Country Western Two-Step. The dance following the lesson will include
music for swing (all styles) , salsa, and other ballroom dances as well
as Two-Step. For more information on the dance, pick up a flier outside
the new studio at 492 Pleasant Street or at other area dances or go to
www.dancenorthampton.com. Beginning in January, Dance Northampton plans
to offer dance classes throughout the week, with beginner, intermediate
and advanced level classes in East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing,
Salsa, Foxtrot, Waltz, Hustle, and Two-Step. Classes before the
Saturday dances will introduce different dance each week. Private dance
lessons and instruction for weddings are also available. "We have a
wonderful, active dance community in the valley, " says Duffy. "I want
to contribute to its growth and create a friendly, club-like atmosphere
where people can learn to dance."
The above was a press release issued to the Daily Hampshire Gazette.
Additional information: 3200 sf, 2 exits, emergency lighting and fire
