As shown in the encased photo, that side of the building now contains a temporary banner for a mattress sale. The landlord guarantees me that this sign will be removed before we apply for the actual sign permit . The realtor' s "for lease" sign (which did exceed the allowed square footage under paragraph 13) has already been removed. The only other signage on this face of the building is directional signage for the car wash. This signage is in compliance with Section 7-2 paragraph 6 of the Zoning ordinance and does not include the name of the business. The side wall sign which I am requesting will be the only permanent signage on the north face of the building where there is one side wall sign allowed per structure by right.
