The Classification of Work Activity in the Work Area is a Change of Use with a Level III Reconfiguration of Space and Addition. The building was last used as mercantile, (M), (a.k.a. Western Village Ski& Sports) and with areas for support and storage.The proposed reconfigurations shall maintain the mixed use non separated building configuration but there will be a change the use group on the 2"d, 3rd and 4'h floors to Residential, (R-2) apartments. An addition shall be constructed on 2"d, 3`d and 4± floors at the rear on the building to bring the rear exterior wall into alignment with the existing rear wall of the 1" floor. A new roof shall also be applied to the existing potion of the building The HVAC,plumbing and electrical systems shall be expanded and reconfigured. An automatic fire sprinkler system, (installed in accordance with Section 903.3.1.1), shall be installed throughout the building.
