OF THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
On February 23, 1977 the Zoning Board of Appeals for the City
of Northampton decided to grant the petition of Neil Homstead for a
special permit to construct an addition to his home.
Based upon evidence presented to the Board, the Board made the
following findings:
(1) The use recuested is listed in the Table of Use
Regulations as a special permit in the district
for which application is made or is so designated
elsewhere in this Ordinance. See section 9-4
page 9-2 of the Zoning Ordinance.
(2) The requested use bears a positive relationship
to the public convenience or welfare.
(3 ) The requested use will not create undue traffic
congestion, or unduly impair pedestrian safety.
(W) The requested use will not overload any public
water, drainage or sewer system or any other muni—
cipal system to such an extent that the requested
use or any developed use in the immediate area
or in any other area of the City will be unduly
subjected to hazards affecting health, safety, or
the general welfare.
( 5) Any special regulations for the use, set forth
in Article XI, are fulfilled.
(6) The recuested use will not unduly impair the in—
tegrity or character of the district or adjoining
zones, nor be detrimental to the health, morals,
or welfare.
