Reported violations include the following items, referenced to the 1982 Rules and Regulations (copies of applicable sections are attached). SECTION: REPORTED VIOLATION• 25.2 Slope of ramp exceeds one-in-twelve (1:12). 25.4 Handrails are not provided on both sidesof ramp. 25.5 Surface of ramp is not made of a non-slip material. 30.1 Public toilet rooms are not accessible. Under Massachusetts law, the Board is authorized to lake legal action against violators of its regulations; including but not limited to an application for a court order preventing the further use of an offending facility. The Board also has the authority to impose fines of up to$1,000.00 per day, per violation for willful noncompliance with its regulations. You are requested to notify this Board in writing of the steps you have taken or plan to take to comply with the above cited regulations. Unless the Board receives such notification within fourteen (14)days of receipt of this letter, it will take necessary legal action to enforce its regulations as set forth above.
