The Massachusetts Building Code, section 107.1 allows for an exclusion from requirements for
construction control in certain situations, In accordance with code section 104.10, I request that you
grant a modification to waive the requirement for construction control for our work on exterior wall
deconstruction and reconstruction project at the Coca Cola Bottling Plant at 45 Industrial Drive,
Northampton because the work is of a minor nature, will not affect health, accessibility, life or fire safety
and is impractical for this project. Ryan Hellwig,Structural Engineer,will observe the work. Upon
completion of the job,Wright Builders will provide a letter from Ryan Hellwig attesting that the work
has been completed in accordance with his recommendations and professional opinion.His
confirmation will be based on observations limited to site visits.
