The review considered the effects of wind load, dead load, ice load and seismic forces in accordance with the Massachusetts State Building Code-780-CMR Eighth Edition, Modifications to the existing antenna mounts are required in order to accommodate the proposed antenna upgrade. Refer to drawings DE-1 thru DE-6 dated January 05,2016 for details. The existing, proposed and future loads considered in this analysis consist of the following: • Verizon(Existing to Remain): Antennas:Three(3)Antel BXD-63606380CF panel antennas and six(6)RFS FD9R6004/2C-31 Diplexers mounted to the exterior of the existing smokestack with a RAD center elevation of 123-ft+/-AGL. Coax:Twelve(12) 1.5/8-in dia. coaxial cables routed along the exterior of the existing smokestack. • Verizon(Existing to Remove): Antennas:Three (3)Antel BXA-70063-6CF panel antennas mounted to the exterior of the existing smokestack with a RAD center elevation of 113-ft+/-AGL. • Verizon(Proposed): Antennas:Three(3)Andrew HBXX-6517DS-A2M panel antennas,three(3)Andrew SBNHH-1D65C panel antennas, three (3)Alcatel Lucent RRH_2x60-AWS remote radio heads,three(3)Commscope E15ROSP29 TMA's and one(1)RFS RC2DC-4750-pf-48 main distribution box mounted to the exterior of the existing smokestack with a RAD center elevation of 113-ft+/-AGL.Modifications to the existing antenna mounts are required in order to accommodate the proposed antenna upgrade. Refer to drawings DE-1.thru DE-6 dated January OS,2016 for details.Additionally(3)Teletiit ATSBT-BOTTOM-RM Bias-T's are to be installed. 63-2 N -h 9 n .,ord g77-7d, B.o,.crd C1 06405 207 e 50 47s 7,52 www-Cenim4Eng coo, CENTEK engineering, INC Structural Evaluation tetter-Antenna Upgrade Verizon Wireless Site Ref Florence 221 Pine Street Florence(Northampton), MA 01062 • Verizon(Proposed-cont.): Cables:One(1)1-1/4 dia. Hybriflex fiber main line to be routed within the existing cable tray system from the Verizon Wireless equipment room to the main distribution box. The proposed antenna installation meets the requirements of the Massachusetts State Building Code-780-CMR Eighth Edition considering the basic wind speed (3-second gust)of 100 mph for Northampton. Our findings are based on the assumption that all structural members and appurtenances were properly designed, detailed, fabricated, installed and have been properly maintained since erection, In conclusion, the proposed Verizon antenna upgrade will not negatively impact the structural integrity of the existing antenna support structure or host masonry smokestack.
