A complaint was filed with the Architectural Access Board regarding alleged violations of its
Rules and Regulations with respect to the above premises.

By letter of July 3, 2012 , Jody Barker Architect
stated:
Attached please find a PDF copy of proposed plans for your review regarding parking
improvements at the D'Angelos Restaurant, 388 King Street, Northampton, MA. The proposed
• changes reflect solutions to issues presented in your Docket#C09125.
Ramp is proposed.to be relocated from in parking area/traffic way to existing sidewalk. Existing
• sidewalk will be modified to accommodate ramp design.
Parking layout will be modified to provide one (1) accessible space and one (1) van accessible
space.
A new 8' wide access aisle will be provided and centered on the new sidewalk ramp.
New signage will be provided for new accessible spaces.
The Board adopts this plan as it's own order, with compliance to be achieved by August 1, 2012 •

You are required to notify this office, in writing, within five (5) days Of the completion date,
indicating whether or not the above work has been completed. You are required to include
photographs showing that the work has been completed.

Any person aggrieved by the above decision may request an adjudicatory hearing before
the Board within 30 days of receipt of this decision by filing the attached request for
adjudicatory hearing form. If after 30 days, a request for an adjudicatory hearing is not
received, the above decision becomes a final order and the appeal process is through
Superior Court.
