Dear Building Department,
I have received approval from David Pomerantz to use the plaza behind Thornes
Marketplace (where the Tuesday Farmer's Market takes place) for an art sale on October
2, 2016. We plan to have 2 large tents on the site with tables inside for artists to sell their
work.
I understand that I need to apply for a permit for the tents on the site, and was originally
told to use the Accessory Structure application, but it doesn't really seem applicable to our
one day use of the site without doing anything permanent. In looking at the City's website I
saw a Tent permit application.
I have completed both and am including a $30 check for the fee. Can you use the one
that's most applicable.
