His intention is to repair and renovate the interior the Cutlery Building Associate shop and office for kids business, whicli are of the building for use as a woodworking allowable uses in this zone (C.I.) . By allowing Mr. Elbaum to occupy the building which was used for storage purposes by the Cutlery, it will eliminate the possibility of deterioration of the al building and hence alleviate the potentifor the building being vandalized or becoming a hazard and eyesore in an otherwise well kept and attractive neighborhood. This will have a positive impact to the public convenience and welfare. Since the building will be primarily used by Mr. Elbaum and his workers, traffic congestion or pedestrian safety will not be impacted. The requested use will not overload any public water, drainage or sewer systems since only private restrooms will be maintained on the premises for Mr. Elbaum and his workers. The requested use will enhance the integrity and character of the area because the building will be maintained by the owner and therefore increases theit safety preserve and contributes to the character of the area and by occupying the building will a historic building in the City.
