As it was some time ago that we discussed this project, I'd like to restate my plans to construct a building that will allow the widest range of future uses as allowed under SI zoning. This addition will be completed on the first floor and will house a carpentry/cabinet shop. The second floor will remain unfinished(an open space)but is designed with floor loads for use as future office space, or residential space with accommodations for a second egress and two hour fire rating between the I st and second floor. No work will take place there until another permit is approved. The 8' x 15' addition at the rear of the building will be of solid masonry construction-concrete slab, block walls, and poured concrete roof/deck with two hour fire rated doors.
