David Dietz will give APC a schedule for connections and compaction on Colander Drive. David noted that pipes that are to have pavement aver;them and the 24"RCP line are items on a critical path.Tom noted that the sidewalk between Village Hill Road and the driveway entrance to the parking lot(approximately 30') should be changed from asphalt to concrete.Item continued. 9/22105—Before the project meeting today the project team deet with David Dietz and Tom Schmitt to discuss COP#38. Dino will contact the electrical inspector to see if the primary electrical conduit can be installed by David Dietz instead of ML Schmitt to save on labor costs. Tom Schmitt is open to a$5,000 rebate on Olander work and on labor costs as well as reducing some of his other costs,which he agreed to revise. Tom Schmitt noted that 4"pvc costs have gone up and provided bids from suppliers. David will take a second took at hisnumbers and see where he can bring them down. in David's pricing he is not charging for removing any of the existing soils that cannot be used. To reduce the cost of COP#38 Tom K.gave approval to remove from the scope of work the addition of the stubs for future catch basins in Olander Drive. David will still provide the coring and brick up the holes. David noted that this is an item that will not cost less if it is done now. David also noted that he hasn't added in any premium time,even though his scope of work has increased but the schedule has not changes/. Provide a 3"binder course(instead of 2-1/2"as noted on dwgs) and a 2" topcoat (instead of 1-112"ondwgs) And the gravel base will need to be doubled to 24" per city requirements for an industrial road for the Otander Drive hammer head. The topcoat will not be poured until Olander Drive is paved,which is not within the scope of this project The granite curb will be deleted at the driveway entrance and replaced with asphalt berm.
