ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS °
At its meeting on February 20, 1980 the Zoning Board of
Appeals for the City of Northampton voted unanimously to grant
the petition of Michael and Ruth Jacobson—Hardy for a special
permit to make, repair and restore guitars at 21 Garfield Street.
Based upon evidence presented to the Board, the Board made
the following findings in regard to the special permit:
1. The proposed use is listed in the Table of Use
Regulations.
2. The proposed use bears a positive relationship to
the public good by encouraging a craft.
3. The proposed use would not create undue traffic
c:ongestionrnr impair the district.
4. The proposed use meets the requirements of Section
1.0.10 of the Zoning Ordinance.
The special permit is, however, granted subject to the
following conditions:
1. That the applicant soundproof the work area if the
area is found to be disturbing to the neighbors.
