Dear Mrs. Ryder:
An inspection this date of your home at 18 Lilly Street (Assessors Map 17C,

inoperable and water damage to the dwelling's wiring has caused the electrical
service to be shut off.
In addition, the lack of heat and electrical service have necessitated the shut
off of the water service.
The lack of heat, electricity and water in your dwelling are serious violations

dwelling unfit for human habitation.
Therefore under authority of Chapter 111, Sections 3 and 127A of the Mass. General
Laws and 105 CMR 410.831, the Northampton Board of Health herewith condemns your
dwelling at 18 Lilly Street and orders it vacated immediately. The dwelling cannot
be reoccupied until the violations listed above have been corrected and the work
approved by the City's Building and Wiring and Inspectors.
You have a right to a hearing regarding this condemnation order provided that you
file a request for such a hearing in the Board of Health Office within 7 days of
the receipt of this order.
If you have any questions concerning this matter, please contact the Board of
Health Office.
Very truly yours,
