Ryder 18 Lilly Street Florence, MA 01060 Be: 18 Lilly Street map 17C, lot 282 Dear Mrs. Ryder: An inspection this date of your home at 18 Lilly Street (Assessors Map 17C, lot 282 revealed the following: A fire has severely damaged the dwelling's chimney rendering the heating system inoperable and water damage to the dwelling's wiring has caused the electrical service to be shut off. In addition, the lack of heat and electrical service have necessitated the shut off of the water service. The lack of heat, electricity and water in your dwelling are serious violations of 105 CMR 410.000 (Chapter II of the State Sanitary Code) which renders the dwelling unfit for human habitation. Therefore under authority of Chapter 111, Sections 3 and 127A of the Mass. General Laws and 105 CMR 410.831, the Northampton Board of Health herewith condemns your dwelling at 18 Lilly Street and orders it vacated immediately. The dwelling cannot be reoccupied until the violations listed above have been corrected and the work approved by the City's Building and Wiring and Inspectors. You have a right to a hearing regarding this condemnation order provided that you file a request for such a hearing in the Board of Health Office within 7 days of the receipt of this order.
