It is recommended that you pre-install the splice kit on the ground for easier handling of the sup-
p13ort rails. After installing the splices, set the lengths against the building.Typically,the installer

APPLICATION:
The RoofTrac mounting system consists of sup-
port rails and top-down clamping hardware which
is integrated with either a TileTrac or FastJack
attachment device. The RoofTrac mounting sys-
tem can be utilized on virtually all standard con-
struction residential roof-tops, mounting 4' on
center, to install the majority of popular framed
solar modules.

and tested to withstand stated specifications (as stated on

Statement of Work: The Photovoltaic system is composed of 20 LG 300 Watt panels. The STC rating for the system is 6.0 kW. The Photovoltaic
system will be aff ixed to the roof structure with Professional Solar Product's(Pro-Solar) Roof Trac mounting system in accordance to the
manufacturer specifications. ProSolar's rail enhancers(part#ARE-20) will be added to further reinforce the racking system. The lag bolts will
penetrate the rafters by a minimum of 3.5". The fast Jacks or mounting feet will be spaced 4'on center and the static load will be distributed
equally among associated rafters. We will not exceed the manufacturer's recommendations for cantilever distance or deviate from the
installation guide in any way. This installation will exceed local static load and wind load requirements.

Massachusetts General Laws chapter 152 requires all employers to provide workers' compensation for their employees.

or on the grounds or building appurtenant thereto shall not because of such employment be deemed to be an employer."
MGL chapter 152, §25C(6)also states that"every state or local licensing agency shall withhold the issuance or
renewal of a license or permit to operate a business or to construct buildings in the commonwealth for any
applicant who has not produced acceptable evidence of compliance with the insurance coverage required."
Additionally, MGL chapter 152, §25C(7)states"Neither the commonwealth nor any of its political subdivisions shall
enter into any contract for the performance of public work until acceptable evidence of compliance with the insurance
requirements of this chapter have been presented to the contracting authority."
