The state building code requires that a sprinkler system be monitored so that in the event the sprinklers are activated an alarm will be sent notifying the fire department that the system has been activated. The fire department has reported your system has failed and does not appear to be in working order. You are in violation of 780CMR State building code section 923.1. Please contact this office immediately upon receipt of this letter with your plans to make alarm functional.
