MEMORANDUM
DATE: August 23, 1991
TO: Members of Planning Committee
U=BUILDING '.
FROM: Ed Morin
SUBJECT: Parking Restrictions DS
NORTHMVTON Mtn 0101100
I called Frank Sienkiewicz just in case we want to expand to the third floor. I
had heard that there are some restrictions that have to do with parking if we were
going to utilize that area. Sur-nuf, it states that the building at 13 Keyes
Street must be removed for more parking if we go up. I had wanted to keep that
building for expansion if needed.
Frank is going to dig a little more to see if the new *restrictions will affect us
even more. He will get back to me ASAP.
Our five year plan reveals that we will definitely need that area, perhaps sooner
than we think.
Also Frank says that in 1985 we had spaces for 59 cars - 36 over at Wellman's and
23 behind the bank according to the records at that time. I just counted them.
We have only 16 behind the bank (due to the change from the old parking lot when
the drive-up was behind the Main Office) , we still have 36 next to 13 Keyes, but
have 20 more spaces behind 13 Keyes for a total of 72 instead of 59. This, plus the
fact the VNA is no longer here, may allow us to expand and keep 13 Keyes. We'll
stay on top of this one.
