ZONING ORDINANCE VIOLATION CEASE, DESIST, AND ABATE
Mr./Mrs./Ms. John Childs , and all persons having notice of this
order.
As owner/occupant of the premises, located at 574 Haydenville Rd.
Assessor's Map 6 Plot 5+52 , and known as Baystate Wglding & Manufacturing,
you are hereby notified that you are in violation of the City of Northampton's
ZONING ORDINANCE(s), ARTICLE(s) 5 & 7 , SECTION(s) 5.1 & 7.8 , and are ORDERED
'this date , May 21, 1984 to:
1. CEASE AND DESIST immediately, all functions connected with this
violation, on or at the above mentioned premises.

2. COMMENCE within twenty-four ( 24) hours, action to abate this violation

of a metal fabricating shop

It is my understanding that the use of the above referenced property
is for Business and Professional Offices ; Nonconforming Retail Sales of
Fuel oil , service and installation; Retail Sales of 'Techanical Systems
and rletal Iabricating ; Repair and Service of all mechanical systems and
metal fabricating . All fabricating services are contained within the
structure .
Based on a letter we received from John K. Childs d./b/a/ Bay State
I�'elding, we are requesting that it be possible to lease the garage area
and one office to John K. Childs d/b/a/ Bay State Iadelding .
It is our opinion that the building will be used in the same manner
as it has been for the last 20 years .
